Confetti Bags!
Kids LOVE making this and it is wonderful for fine motor skills. I bought my hole punches at the dollar store and put some scrap construction paper in the tub along with a baggie and the punch. The kids punch away and fill their bag up with the scraps. You could also use different shape punches (stars, squares, etc.).

Dinosaur Eggs
Sometimes I go out looking for materials for a center and other times I get inspired by what is already out there. I found these dinosaurs at the Dollar Tree and knew that my kids would love them. They are great for fine motor because they have to pinch the handle in order to close the dinosaur mouth. I had some buckets and I just taped color construction paper to them for a color sort. Then I used google images to look for dinosaur pictures and copy/pasted them into a word document and printed them out. Next I taped those pics on each bucket. I told the class that someone came and stole all the dinosaur eggs (puff balls spread out in the middle of the table or floor) and they need to get them back to their mommies! They they worked as a group to pinch each "egg" in the mouth and deliver it to it's mommy (color bucket). They love this one!

Wiki Stix Are Great!
We use wiki stix for so many things in TK. This week we talked about shapes and then the kids were able to use wiki stix to place them on laminated shape cards. Don't forget to remind them not to ball them up or you will have a sticky mess on your hands.
